## What is Retriever?

Retriever is a Google Sheets add-on that automatically syncs your QuickBooks Online reports into Google Sheets. You build a report once and refresh it with a single click, no more manual exports or copy-and-paste.

## Which version of QuickBooks does Retriever work with?

Retriever works with QuickBooks Online. You will need admin access to the QuickBooks company you want to connect.

## How do I get started?

Install Retriever from the Google Workspace Marketplace, open it from the Extensions menu in any Google Sheet, and connect your QuickBooks account. Our getting-started guide walks through every step.

## Which QuickBooks reports does Retriever support?

Retriever supports Profit and Loss (and P&L Detail), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, A/R and A/P Aging (summary and detail), General Ledger, Trial Balance, Budget vs. Actuals, Sales by Customer and Product, Transaction List, and many more.

## How often does my data refresh?

You can refresh any report manually with one click, or set it to refresh automatically every hour so your spreadsheets always reflect the latest QuickBooks data.

## Will refreshing overwrite my formulas and formatting?

No. Retriever's smart refresh preserves formulas that reference report data, rows and columns you have added, linked charts, and your custom formatting, so your work stays intact.

## Can I create dynamic date ranges?

Yes. Retriever supports dynamic dates like 'This Month' or 'Last Fiscal Quarter' that update automatically on refresh, trailing periods such as a trailing 12 months, and cell-reference dates driven by your own spreadsheet formulas.

## Can I connect more than one QuickBooks company?

Yes. Retriever supports connecting anywhere from one to 100+ QuickBooks companies, and you can switch between them from a dropdown.

## Is my data secure?

Yes. Retriever authenticates with OAuth 2.0, so we never see or store your QuickBooks or Google passwords. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and at rest with AES-256, and we complete an annual Intuit security review. You can disconnect any company in a single click.

## How much does Retriever cost?

Retriever includes a 14-day free trial. It is $60/month for the first QuickBooks company and $12 for each additional company, with unlimited users, sheets, and refreshes. Pay annually and save 20%. See our pricing page for current details.

## Can I invite my team?

Yes. From the Account tab you can invite team members by their Google Sheets email address and set their roles and permissions. Their email does not need to match their QuickBooks login.

## What is the drill-down feature?

Drill-down lets you click any dollar amount in a Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, or Cash Flow report to see the underlying QuickBooks transactions that make up that number.
